To do this, a Driver must be recruited. The primary responsibility of the Driver is to ensure that International Medical Corps staff or goods movements are performed in safely and secured manner. Cette crise des ressources humaines constitue un obstacle fondamental au renforcement des systèmes de santé dans la mesure où elle compromet durablement la fourniture et l’accès aux services de santé y compris les plus essentiels. Remédier à cette crise représente un défi d’envergure. Les mesures déployées pour améliorer la situation devraient reposer sur un ensemble de principes interdépendants et le choix des interventions devrait s’appuyer sur une connaissance approfondie des problèmes des RHS. Cela nécessite une analyse complète de la situation du personnel et une analyse explicative du marché du travail des ressources humaines en santé. Soucieux d’apporter une réponse adéquate aux défis que rencontre les RHS au Cameroun et atteindre les objectifs en matière de couverture santé universelle, le ministère de la Santé Publique admet qu’un accent doit être mis sur la façon dont l’Etat conçoit et met en œuvre les politiques de formation des personnels de santé, de leur recrutement, de leur répartition dans différentes formations sanitaires, ainsi que des stratégies pour leur fidélisation aux postes.
